Frank John Goclon, passed away on April 10th, 2024, at the age of 92. He was born November 9th, 1931 to the late Joseph and Sophie Goclon, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A dedicated veteran of the United States Army, Frank bravely served his country during the Korean War, embodying courage and patriotism throughout his service. In his forties, Frank married Everetta 'Abby' Ash, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventures. Together, they enjoyed hunting for hidden treasures at flea markets, swap meets, and garage sales, finding joy in the simple pleasures. Later in life they enjoyed going on Sunday drives with friends, followed by dinner. Frank is preceded in death by his wife in 2019. Frank's legacy of service, love, and camaraderie will be deeply missed, yet the memories he created will continue to bring comfort and warmth to those he leaves behind.
He is survived by David Ash, of Minnesota; Bobby Ash, of Oregan; Jimmy Ash, of Florida; Carol Sherbert, of Florida; and dear friends, Dalton 'Baldy' and HoeCha Cornwell.
Frank will be laid to rest at the Fayetteville National Cemetery on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
