Frank Alexander Richert, age 74 of Elkins, passed away June 9, 2017. Frank was born August 5, 1942 in Hamburg, Germany to parents Johann and Magdalena Richert. He was united in marriage to Glenda Shackelford on February 17, 1967 in Rogers, Arkansas. Frank and Glenda enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Frank was a longtime resident of Northwest Arkansas and worked for many years as a manager at Tyson Foods. He was a member and Deacon at Crystal Hills Family Fellowship Church of Elkins. Frank was also a Veteran of the United States Army, during the Korean War era and enjoyed working outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill and Pete and sister, Ellie. Frank is survived by his wife, Glenda Richert of Elkins; sons, Duane Richert and wife Marla of Elkins and John Richert and wife Pam of Lowell; brother, Willie Richert; grandchildren, Brittany Vaught, Brandon, Shani, Shayleen, Allyson, Caden, Ashlyn, Jessica, Angela and Ron Richert as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Crystal Hills Family Fellowship Church. The family will receive guests at the church on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Crystal Hills Family Fellowship Church of Elkins with interment to follow at the Hazel Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers. Visitation 5:00 PM Tuesday, June 13th, 2017
