Fred Webster, age 82 of Gravette and formerly of Bella Vista, went to be with his Lord on October 10, 2012 at the Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville. Fred was born in Hanford, California on July 25, 1930 to Arthur and Bertha (Vogel) Webster. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and worked in management for the state of California before retiring. Fred was a member of the Bella Vista Baptist Church. He had many hobbies and interests throughout his life including; photography, bicycling, camping, backpacking, canoeing, whale watching, reading, and playing war games. He will be missed very much. Preceded in death by one son, Bruce Scott Webster; his parents, and one brother, Art Webster, Jr.; Fred is survived by his wife Janice (Smith) Webster of the home; three daughters, Sandi Bernal and husband Joe of Rogers; Tanya Karasek and husband John of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Ruth Nyqvist and husband Kjell of Idaho; daughter-in-law, Dawn Webster of California; sister-in-law, Betty Howard AKA "his protector" of Gravette and brother-in-law Bob Smith of California; six grandchildren, Myk, Jeff, and Jordan Karasek of Oklahoma; Haley and Sarah Webster of California; Ryan Servatius of Washington; one great granddaughter, Jessa Karasek of Tulsa; nieces, Jody Pritchard and Ceci Gross and Diana Webster, nephews Marcus Smith and Art Webster, Jr. other relatives, and friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, October 27 at a time to be determined at the Bella Vista Baptist Church (50 Lancashire Blvd) in Bella Vista.
