Garry Lan Jennings, age 60 of Bentonville, passed away March 5, 2011. Garry was born January 19, 1951 at Newport, Arkansas to parents Garland Jennings and Sylvia Neal Jennings. Garry was united in marriage in May of 1970 to Linda Sue Brooks at Bradford, Arkansas. He worked for over 24 years as a trucker for Wal Mart, where he was known by the call sign "Vampire". In later years, Garry continued working as a self-employed trucker. Garry was a member of the National Rifle Association as well as the OOIDA, Independent Trucker Association. Garry was preceded in death by his father, Garland Jennings. He is survived by his wife, Linda Jennings of the home; mother, Sylvia Jennings of Bradford, Arkansas; three sons, Bryan Jennings and wife Billieann of Rocky Comfort, Missouri, Jared Jennings and wife Sarah of Bella Vista, Justin Jennings of Bentonville; brothers, Jerry Jennings and wife Linda from Russell, Arkansas, Terry Jennings and wife Debbie of Bradford, Arkansas; sister, Peggy Stuckey and husband Mike of Judsonia, Arkansas and three grandchildren, Thomas Jennings and Bailey Jennings of Rocky Comfort, Missouri and Eli Jennings of Bella Vista. Memorial Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the New Life Christian Center at 900 West Centerton Blvd. in Centerton, Arkansas. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the care account set up at the Arvest Bank in the name of Garry Jennings for medical expenses, Attn. to Bonita Gibbon, P.O.
