Gene Rayburn Phillips, 96, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born March 17, 1930, to the late Hubert and Bertha (Ludy) Phillips. On December 16, 1948, he was married to Emma Lee Boyd. Gene was a U.S. Army retiree. He enjoyed being a fisherman, an outdoorsman and traveling in his motorhome. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lee Boyd Phillips; his son, Larry Phillips; his daughter, Debbie Phillips and his brother, Floyd Phillips.

He is survived by two sons: David (Jan) Phillips of Graham, North Carolina and Kenny (Samantha) Phillips of Mountain Home, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas, with Pastor Bill Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park.
