George Hussey, age 76, a resident of Bella Vista, Arkansas and formerly of Denver, Colorado, passed away, Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. George was born in Neosho, Missouri on April 11, 1934 to George Hussey, Sr. and Edna (Harwell) Hussey. George served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Air Force. On December 14, 1968 he married Judy Baker in Las Vegas, Nevada and they were married for over 33 years before her death in 2001. George worked as car salesman for a brief time and retired from Phillip-Morris after 33 years. But most people knew George locally as the sausage man selling gourmet foods. He was an avid sports fan and was the promoter of several fantasy sports leagues and most of all George loved to play as much golf as he could and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his wife Judy Hussey; parents, George Sr. and Edna Hussey; one brother, J.C. Hussey; one sister, Lorene Forrester; George is survived by four nephews, Ron Duncan and wife Theresa of Springdale; Jamie Hussey and wife Lisa of Berryville; Steve Forrester and wife Mary of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; David Forrester and wife Jeraline of Jefferson City, Missouri; one niece Jonna Hussey and husband Bob Brewer of Fayetteville; one sister, Pauline Duncan of Cassville, Missouri; numerous great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. There will be a Celebration of Life Reception from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Yacht Club in Bella Vista (1 Marina Drive, Bella Vista, AR 72715).
