Georgia Ann Poplin, age 83 of Siloam Springs and formerly of Springdale, passed away December 12, 2022. Georgia was born on July 4, 1939 in Haskell, Oklahoma to parents George Allen Fountain and Mary Elizabeth Meadows Fountain. She was united in marriage to Archie Poplin on March 19, 1956. Georgia worked for many years at Long John Silver's restaurant and before that at the First National Bank of Springdale. She enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with family, quilting, and following the Arkansas Razorbacks sports teams. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents as well as her siblings. She is survived by her spouse, Archie Poplin of Siloam Springs; children, Archie Allen Poplin and wife Fredia of Round Mountain, Texas, Steve Poplin of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Ron Poplin and wife Cindy of Centerton, Arkansas, Brenda Blair and husband Jim of Gentry, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Services are set for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Circle of Life Hospice.
