Gerald "Jerry" Paul Patterson, a lifelong resident of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on May 24, 2026. He was born on May 27, 1942 to the late Gerald Floyd Patterson and Florence Evelyn Patterson.
In his early years, Jerry graduated from Rogers High School in 1960. Following high school, he pursued higher education at the University of Arkansas. He served with honor for three years in the Army National Guard.
Jerry had many different occupations throughout the years, owning a pawn shop in Bentonville, and working in the automotive and insurance sales industries. Beyond his professional life, Jerry was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan, and he enjoyed watching football, basketball, and baseball games. His competitive nature shone brightest in his love for bowling, winning numerous awards and proudly played on a bowling team. This drive extended to his enjoyment of playing pool, where he had competed in several competitions.
Jerry’s commitment to fraternity and fellowship was evident through his active membership in the Masonic Lodge of Rogers, the Elk's Lodge in Rogers, and the Loyal Order of Moose in Lowell. These affiliations showed his dedication to camaraderie, community involvement, and tradition. He was also a gifted storyteller, often captivating friends and family alike.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda of Rogers, Arkansas; son, Greg Patterson of Wilton, Maine; daughter, Donna Valentine of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and six grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Floyd Patterson and Florence Evelyn Patterson; his brother, David Patterson; and his sister, Phyllis Jean Patterson.
A graveside service will be held on May 31, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Benton County Memorial Park located at 3800 W Walnut St, Rogers, Arkansas.
