Gerald Mesman Gerald Mesman, age 84, a resident of Rogers, Arkansas since 1993 and formerly of California, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. Gerald was born in Edgerton, Minnesota on December 12, 1925 to Marienus and Jenny (Bolluyt) Mesman. On May 19, 1985 he married Peggy Ann Boever in Ontario, California. Gerald worked as a truck driver for Petroline Trucking in California and also worked in maintenance with Shipley Motors of Lowell, Arkansas. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching sports on TV and especially car races and basketball, and was an avid reader. Gerald loved his family and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Arvin Mesman; two brother-in-laws, Elmer Wolhof; Hank VanDam; one sister-in-law, Fay Mesman; Gerald is survived by his wife, Peggy Mesman of the home in Rogers, Arkansas; one daughter, Connie Staronawicz and husband Gary of Grand Rapids, Michigan; one step son, Brian Boever and wife Pam of Coarsegold, CA; one step daughter, Pam Marino and husband Tony of Taylorsville, North Carolina; one brother, Lester Mesman of Edgerton, Minnesota; two sisters, Muriel Wolhof of Edgerton, Minnesota; Joan VanDam of San Marcus, California; one sister-in-law, Marge Mesman of Edgerton, Minnesota; two granddaughters, Lisa Dykhouse and husband Aaron of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Stephanie Wiers and husband Chad of Grand Rapids, Michigan; one step granddaughter, Malea Boever of Coarsegold, California; one great granddaughter, Adylnn Staronawicz of Grand Rapids, Michigan; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Memorial services will be Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel (3800 W. Walnut-Rogers, AR 72758). Inurnment services will be held at a later date in Edgerton, Minnesota.
