Gerald W. Mosteller, age 94 of Fort Smith and formerly of Rogers, passed away July 21, 2013. Gerald was born March 18, 1919 in Huntsville, Arkansas to parents Elbert James Mosteller and Ida Alta McChristian Mosteller. As a young man, Gerald enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps. He went on to work as a medical technician for the Veterans Administration for many years. Gerald was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers as well as the Oak Cliff Baptist Church in Fort Smith. He enjoyed flowers, Gardening and NASCAR. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Eula, parents and 6 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra E. Farretta and husband Bill of Chandler, AZ.; sister, Donna Jean Miller and husband John of O'Fallon, MO.; brother, Jerry Lee Mosteller and wife Ruby of Coffeyville, KS.; grandchildren, Kathy Farretta of Flagstaff, AZ and Kristine Reynolds and husband Justin of Eagle, ID and three great grandchildren, Ciara, Colton and Talia. Visitation will start at Noon, on Saturday, July 27, 2013 and extend to service time at 1:30 P.M. Saturday in the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 W.Walnut in Rogers. Visitation 12:00 PM Saturday, July 27th, 2013
