Geraldine "Gerry" Lynn Steinke, age 66 of Rogers, passed away August 19, 2011. Gerry was born May 22, 1945 in Dearborn, Michigan to parents Edward and Marion Berch. She was united in marriage to Peter Steinke on May 1, 1965 in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. The family moved to Rogers, Arkansas in 1978. Gerry had been an employee of the Rogers Public Library for over 20 years and enjoyed her work. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived her husband of 46 years, Pete of the home; daughters, Lisa Steinke of Bend, Oregon, Tina Solgere and husband Jeff of Bella Vista, Eva Archer and Tim Morrisroe of Michigan City, Indiana; brother, Ed Berch of Howell, Michigan; sisters, Nancy Rockwell of New York, Barbara Danylsak of Ohio and Loraine Young of Ohio and grandchildren, Lynne Steinke, Nicholas Archer, Molly Archer and T.J. Moore. Memorial Services are set for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Peace Lutheran Church of Rogers . Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
