Gladys Marie DeNicholas, age 97 of Rogers, passed away February 16, 2011. Gladys was born June 28, 1913 at Graysonia, Arkansas to parents George Robert Duke and Zetta McElhanon Duke. She was a longtime resident of Woodland Hills, California, later moving to the Rogers area during the 1990's. Gladys was a member of the Church of Christ and a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Reeves, her parents, one son, George Robert "Bob" Reeves, brothers, Virgil Duke and R.D. Duke, sisters, Iva Craft and Margie Duke and grandchildren Charles Ronald Reeves and Robert Donald Reeves. She is survived by her sons, Charles O. Reeves and wife Betty of Rogers, Jack R. Reeves and wife Susan of Gravette, Joe C. Reeves and wife Linda of Woodland Hills, California, brother, Bobby Ray Duke of Bethel Heights, Arkansas, sister, Mary Fern Duke of Nashville, Arkansas, grandsons, Charles R. "Chuck" Reeves, Bobby Reeves, Charles O. Reeves, Johnny Reeves, Matthew Reeves, Cole Reeves, Jeffrey Reeves, Greg Scott Reeves; granddaughters, Jackie Reeves, Dallice Reeves, Kristy Scott and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will have private graveside services, with Pastor Shawn Wallace officiating. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 West Walnut in Rogers.
