Guy Cleveland Woodell, age 91 of Rogers, passed away Feb. 10, 2014, Guy was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Kiefer, Okla., to parents Grover Cleveland Woodell and Maude Myrtle Burch Woodell. He was united in marriage to Ruby Doris McDaniel on March 28, 1941, in Pineville, Mo. Guy and Ruby enjoyed 62 years of marriage. As a young man, Guy also enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps, serving for three years during and after World War II. In later years, Guy settled in the Rogers area, where he worked for TRW as a machinist. Guy was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers and an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Arkansas Razorback fan. Most recently Guy had the honor of traveling to Washington D.C. with his son, Woody, as a member of an Honor Flight. Guy was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby in 2003; parents; as well as four sisters, Bertha Gregory, Edith Clark, Sadie Denny, Bonnie Roth; and one brother, Albert Woodell. He is survived by his son, James "Woody" Woodell and wife, Perry Ann of Fayetteville; grandson, Scott Woodell and wife, Bridgette of Rogers; and one great grand-daughter. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Benton County Memorial Park with full military honors. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers. Funeral 10:00 AM Thursday, February 13th, 2014
