Hans Kurt Doege, age 80 of Prairie Grove, passed away October 10, 2012 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. Hans was born on September 30, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to John R. and Helen (Scherr) Doege. Hans served country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's of Science and taught Biology at Fayetteville High School. Hans enjoyed bowling, computer games, and the Blue and Gold Macaw, and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his parents; one brother Erwin; four sisters, Edith, Esther, Mousy, and Rita; Hans is survived by one son, Eric Doege; one brother Norman Doege; one sister, Tanja Brown; three grandchildren, Sarah, Jana, and Karl Doege; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friend. Services will be held at a date yet to be determined.
