IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harley "Butch"
Moser, Jr.
April 29, 1938 – September 18, 2025
Harley "Butch" Moser Jr., 87, of Rogers, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis and cancer. We take comfort in knowing that he is now completely healed and that we will one day see him again. Butch was born on April 29, 1938, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to his loving parents, Harley Sr. and Phyllis Simpson Moser. Following graduation from Rogers High School, He attended the University of Arkansas for three years. Butch proudly served in the Army National Guard. On February 20, 1959, Butch married the love of his life, Lynda Green in Rogers, Arkansas. Together, they were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Kelly and Terry. During the 1970's, Butch served as a square dance caller and was instrumental in organizing several new clubs throughout Northwest Arkansas, Southwest Missouri, and Eastern Oklahoma. He was an active member of the Rogers Jaycees and Rotary Club. He attended the Dale Carnegie course and later became an instructor. When he was young, Butch began sweeping the floors of his father's cabinet shop. Eventually working alongside his father, he later purchased the business, Moser Corporation in 1993. Butch had a natural talent for problem-solving, and much of his career was devoted to developing creative solutions in the manufacturing and furniture industries. His passion for innovation and craftsmanship left a lasting legacy. Another lifelong passion of Butch's was golf. He immersed himself in learning, practicing, watching, and playing the game. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Moser; son-in-law, Stanley Drain, both of Rogers, Arkansas.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Lynda Moser; two daughters Kelly Chimarys and Terry Drain; four grandchildren, Zachary (Bridget) Chimarys, Garrett (Heather) Chimarys, Matthew and Andrew Drain; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Mike (Sandra) Moser; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Phyllis Green for all of her love and support.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2025 at Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
The family requests that donations be made in Butch's memory to Circle of Life Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
