Harry William French Sr., age 92, of Rogers passed away July 27, 2014. Harry was born Nov. 23, 1921, in Casa Grande, Ariz., to parents Charles French and Helen Bennett French. As a young man, Harry served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. In later years Harry worked in manufacturing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and bowling and golfing. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta; parents; two brothers; and one grandson. He is survived by his son, Harry French Jr. of Rogers; daughter, Roberta Kappen and husband, Richard, of Rogers; one sister, Marion Rudd of Oregon; four grandchildren, Eric Kappen and wife, Jennifer, Kendra Bliss and husband, Scott, Mary Ann Myers and husband, Jason, Tricia Shelby; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers. Funeral 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 30th, 2014
