Harry Huston Miller, age 84, of Rogers passed away May 14, 2014. Harry was born May 13, 1930, in Stephenson, Ala., to parents Lafayette Miller and Willie Mae Underwood Miller. As a young man, Harry was united in marriage to Jean Bankston and they enjoyed many years of marriage. Harry also began work for the Norfolk Southern Railway where he retired with 42 years of service. Harry was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Rogers, and enjoyed fishing and carpentry. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Harry Miller Jr.; four brothers, Charles, J.T., Lester and Gus Miller; and two sisters, Bessedean Swinney and Barbara Ann Wright. Harry is survived by his wife, Jean Miller of Rogers; one son, Jerry Miller and wife, Terri, of Rogers; daughter-in-law, Denise Miller Dorriety of Katy, Texas; two grandchildren, Jennifer Miller Joyner and husband, Stephen, of Temple, Texas, and Michael Miller and wife, Amanda, of Williamsburg, Va.; and five great-grandchildren, Abriella, Colby and Ridley Joyner, and Barrett and Maggie Miller. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at the Southside Church of Christ in Rogers, with interment to follow at Benton County Memorial Park.
