Irely Jondell Wheeler, age 83, of Dripping Springs, Texas passed away on December 20, 2023. He was born, February 24, 1940 to the late Ira Jones Wheeler and Lorene "Barrett" Wheeler, in Childress, Texas. Jondell was a great athlete, playing football in Rosehill, Kansas. He married Bonni Marie 'Foudray' and raised a loving family together, before her passing in 2020. Jondell was an avid outdoorsman, and was able to pass this on to his family. They would go hunting together for big game, raised Bracco Italiano Pointers to hunt upland birds and act as Service Dogs for Combat Veterans. Jondell also took his family out onto the water, to spend some time together fishing. Family and friends meant the world to Jondell, and they will all remember him fondly. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonni Marie Wheeler; parents, Ira and Lorene Wheeler; and brother, Rex Wheeler.

Jondell is survived by daughter, Rita Wheeler of Dripping Springs, Texas; son, Rio Wheeler and wife, Carolyn, of Travis County, Texas; brother, Glen Wheeler and wife, Brenda, of Missoula, Montana; grandchildren, Destiny Sepulvado, Riley Wheeler, and Summer Wheeler; and many other family friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm, Saturday, January 6th, 2024;

Funeral Service will take place 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 6th, 2024 with burial to follow
