Jack Clifford Hansen, age 85, of Bella Vista and formerly of St. Paul, Minnesota and Balsam Lake, Wisconsin passed away October 25, 2010. Jack was born November 12, 1924 at St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Oscar Hansen and Louise Graham Hansen. Jack was united in marriage to Carolyn Olson on February 12, 1976 at St. Paul, Minnesota and they enjoyed many years together. He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War era, during which he served as a pilot in the United States Navy. In addition to Jack's service in the Naval Reserve, he worked for 30 years as an employee of 3M. In the mid 1990's Jack and Carolyn retired to the Bella Vista area. Jack was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista and a member of the Military Officers Association of America. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Hansen. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hansen of Bella Vista; brother, Richard Hansen of St. Paul, Minnesota and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services are set for 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista. The Rev. Dennis Ritchie will officiate. Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers is handling arrangements. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, that donations me be made to the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista.
