James Burton, age 88, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away October 6, 2021, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born January 2, 1933 in Boyldsville, Arkansas to Elmo and Verna Bateman Burton. Mr. Burton served in the United States Army, and enjoyed working in the food pantry for the Rogers First Assembly of God Church.

Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ebert Burton.

Mr. Burton is survived by his wife Doris Burton, daughter, Carmella Pennella, sister, Atchie Bramlett, grandchildren, Anthony and Gray Pennella, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Burton will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held 4:00pm, Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Danny Chaney officiating. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas.
