IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Anthony
Goodman
October 1, 1951 – May 2, 2024
James 'Jim' Anthony Goodman, of Centerton, Arkansas, passed away on May 2nd, 2024. He was born October 1st, 1951, to the late James 'Bud' and Donnie, in Bell, California. Jim's life started with a love story. He met Carol through her sister, and their relationship started slowly but surely. They had a deep friendship, that became more, and they were married in 1982. They were a match made in heaven, and together they nurtured a loving family. Jim truly loved his family, and had a heart of gold. He would do anything he could to help the people in his life. But if you knew him, you might describe him as a big grumpy bear. That's because he showed his feelings by teasing the ones he loved. He also had a gift for storytelling. It was one of his ways of working through his feelings, and sharing his experiences with others. He found comfort when he was working with his hands. Either out in the yard, or working on his cars and motorcycles. Jim especially loved tinkering on his old clocks, it was a testament to his ingenuity and resourcefulness. He really had a knack for fixing things, and if he couldn't fix it, he believed it was time for a replacement. His absence will be deeply felt, but his memories will be cherished by all who were fortunate to have known him.
Jim is survived by his wife, Carol Goodman, of the home; daughters, Yevette Webb, and her husband, Richard, of Centerton, Arkansas, and Sheri Kane, of Centerton, Arkansas; son, Shane Goodman, and his wife, Bree, of California; grandchildren, Justin Kane, and his wife, Samantha, of Centerton, Arkansas, Bridget Ingalls, and her husband, Bobbylee, of Centerton, Arkansas, Kaelan Goodman, of California, Kandyce Goodman, of Arizona, Amelia Kane, of Centerton, Arkansas, Slayder Kane, of Centerton, Arkansas, Destiny Kane, of Centerton, Arkansas, Calle Ingalls, of Centerton, Arkansas, and Olivia Ingalls, of Centerton, Arkansas; brothers, Tim Goodman, and his wife, Cheryl, of Arizona, Jerry Larson, and his wife, Theresa, of Massachusetts, and Terry Goodman, and his wife Deborah, of California; sister, Sherry Gooch, and her husband, Tom, of Texas; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
