James C. McKerlie passed away on March 20, 2019 at the Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville Arkansas. He was born and raised in California's Bay area by his mother Jacqueline McKerlie. He moved to northwest Arkansas with his family in his late thirties. He had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, swimming, and long drives out to the middle of nowhere, just to see where he would end up. He was a collector of owl trinkets and had quite an extensive collection from over the years. He also loved to just lay back and watch a good movie (or cartoon). He will be remembered for his fiery redheaded spirit and his sense of adventure. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Charlotte Goff, his four children and their families; Tricia McKerlie (daughter), Asckom, Aishka, Anikah (grandchildren), James McKerlie II (son), Kannon, Cali, Logan (grandchildren), CaSandra Juan-Francisco (daughter), Jose (son in-law), Taten, Aria (grandchildren), Thomas Carter (son), Jessica (daughter in-law), Sanora, Brandon (grandchildren), his three siblings, many other family members, in-laws, friends, and also his beloved dog Rico. Memorial Service will be held March 30th, 2019, at 2:00 pm, at Tanyard Creek Pavilion, Bella Vista, Arkansas. Arrangements have been entrusted to Benton County Memorial Park, Rogers, Arkansas.
