Janet Sue Berger, 82, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away December 30, 2024, in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on June 15, 1942, in Red Oak, Iowa to the late Virgil and Erna Barker. Janet enjoyed volunteering and attending her church. She loved to play games, fish, and sew. Janet was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Jespersen and Raymond Berger Sr.; son, Todd Jespersen; grandson, Jared Jespersen; step-children, Raymond Berger Jr., Lynn Berger, and Mark Berger; sister-in-law, Barbara Barker; brother-in-law, Roger Andersen.

She is survived by her children, Jodi Sharshel of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Troy Jespersen and wife Wendy of Polk City, Iowa, Jill Nulle of Winter Haven, Florida, and Matt Berger and Kelly Mohrman of Polk City, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Melanie Jespersen of Greensburg, Pennsylvania; beloved pet, Damsel, her spoiled rotten dog; step-children, Pam Gillham and husband Steve, Chris Berger and wife Donna, Brad Berger and wife Angela; step-daughter-in-laws, Joyce Weber Berger and Amy Berger; brothers, Connie Barker and wife Dorrie of Baldwin City, Kansas, and Gary Barker and wife Colleen of Bella Vista, Arkansas; sister, Jackie Andersen of Elk Horn, Iowa; sixteen grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and other family members.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Church Alive NWA (Word of Life Campus) in Bentonville, Arkansas with Dr. Tony Nichols officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas. Another visitation will take place 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon, Iowa. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon, Iowa.
