Obituary

Janet Louise (Little) Musteen, 78, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Circle of Life in Bentonville, Arkansas, surrounded by family and friends. She was born August 7, 1947, in Springdale, Arkansas, to the late John D. and Lois Louise (White) Little. Janet worked for many years at Springdale Memorial Hospital in the lab as a secretary and later in the physical therapy department, where she performed EEGs. She also worked for Neurological Associates in Fayetteville and later for Wal-Mart Corporate Offices in the store planning department in Bentonville. Upon retirement, she and Dean partnered with John Little in Grandpa’s Flea Market in Kingston, Arkansas, where they continued their love of all things vintage.

Janet will be remembered for her fun, outgoing and strong personality. She found great joy in her grandchildren, as well as in painting, crafting, crocheting afghans, antiques, flea markets and auctions. She had a special gift for creating—if anyone had an idea or project in mind, all they had to do was ask, and she would bring it to life with love and care. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and the love she gave so freely.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Harold Dean Musteen; her brother, John Danny Little; her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Johnny Turner and her in-law siblings: Donald Anglin, Loretta Feagin, Larry Musteen and Tommy Musteen, along with several other cherished family members who went before her.

She is survived by two daughters: Dana (Robb) Morrison and Kara (Billy) Hawkins, both of Rogers; her brother, Tom D. (Deb) Little of Kingston; her sisters-in-law: Alice Musteen of Prairie Grove and George Anne Little of Lakeview, Arkansas and six grandchildren: Johnny (Falicia) Westgerdes of Pea Ridge, Adam (Miranda) Brown of Coinjock, North Carolina, Megan (Hunter) McNeel of Rogers, Kadey (Sheldon) Bower of Pea Ridge, Alexys (Cameron) Eads of Bella Vista and Garren Roland of Rogers. She is also lovingly remembered by her nine great-grandchildren.

At her request, a small, intimate family gathering to celebrate her life will take place at a later date at Kingston Cemetery. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support during this time. Janet is missed more than words can express.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Benton County Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Rogers.
