Janice Sue Fletcher, age 62, of Rogers passed away Aug. 12, 2013. Janice was born June 8, 1951, in Lincoln, Ark., to parents Eddie Thomas and Ona Jean Smith Thomas. She worked for a period at Glad Manufacturing and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, reading, antiquing, gardening and Gospel music. She was a 17-year survivor of brain cancer. Janice was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Doug of Rogers; daughter, Mandy Wenger and husband, Creek, of Fayetteville; stepfather, Wallace Rutherford of Rogers; sisters, Karen Smith of Rogers, and Kayla Way and husband, Frankie, of Houston; stepbrothers, Preston Rutherford of Post Falls, Idaho, Sam Rutherford of Hot Springs, Ark., Jim Rutherford of Bellingham, Wash.; stepsister, Virginia Rutherford of Bellingham, Wash.; four grandchildren, Maddy, Hailey, Vivi, Camryn; and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Lowell, Ark. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations in Janice's honor be made to the Circle of Life Hospice Home, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
