Jewell Mae Berner, a devoted homemaker passed away on April 9th, 2014 at the age of 76 at the home in Rogers, AR. She was born on April 17th, 1937 in Tulia, TX; the daughter of Paul and Edith Newby. Jewell was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, homemaker and turkey farmer. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Paul and Edith Newby, Plainview, TX, a brother Carlos Newby of Plainview, TX and husband of 58 years, Chester Berner of Rogers, AR. She is survived by her three sons, Rickey and his wife Sharon Berner of Lowell, Danny and his wife Brenda Berner of Highfill, Neal and his wife Sonya Berner of Berryville, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be cremated by Benton County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th, 2014 at 10 am and funeral will immediately follow at the chapel at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, AR.
