Jimmy Wayne Baggett, age 65 of Rogers, passed away November 19, 2013. Jimmy was born October 18, 1948 in Bentonville, Arkansas to parents Neal Baggett and Wanda Landers. Jimmy was united in marriage to Brenda "Joyce" Slyter on April 13, 1968 in Rogers, Arkansas. He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972. He went on to work for many years as an engineer. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and traveling in the family motor home. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers, Jack and Don Baggett. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Baggett of Rogers; one son, Jamie Baggett and wife Jennifer of Pea Ridge; one daughter, Jodie Lester and husband Danny of Rogers; brothers, Fred Baggett of Rogers, Bill Baggett and wife Linda of Rogers, Jerry Baggett and wife Rhonda of Charleston, Arkansas; grandchildren, Brittany Lester, Jeremiah Lester, Cameron Baggett and Braden Baggett; great grandchild, Cooper King; several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. The family will have a Memorial Reception from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers.
