Jim Casey, age 77, a resident of Bella Vista, Arkansas and formerly of Schroon Lake, New York, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. Jim was born in New York, New York on April 13, 1934 to William P. and Florence (Neary) Casey. Jim served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict as a member of the Honor Guard at Arlington Nation Cemetery. He was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Jim enjoyed reading, traveling, and following his grandkids sporting events. Preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kevin J. Casey; Jim is survived by his wife, Lenore Casey of the home in Bella Vista, Arkansas; one daughter, Karen Casey and husband Cliff Doxsee of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother, William P. Casey and wife Barbara of Florida; two grandchildren, Elliot and Caroline Doxsee. Memorial services will be at a later date.
