Joann Louise Chapell, 88, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away April 4, 2024, at her home. She was born on February 18, 1936, to the late William and Alvia Lister in West Terre Haute, Indiana. Joann married the love of her life, Robert Merle Chapell, on December 12, 1953. While Joann loved to watch wrestling and go to the casino, she enjoyed spending time with her family the most. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, four children, two grandsons, one great-granddaughter, several siblings and her beloved pets.

She is survived by two children, Kevin Chapell and wife Sheri of Rogers, Arkansas, and Sherri Guardiola of Rogers, Arkansas; one son-in-law, Michael Lowry of Rogers, Arkansas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut Street Rogers, Arkansas. Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Refuge Church, 4300 NE Hudson Rd. Rogers, Arkansas 72756. Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park.
