Joe Threet, age 61 of Rogers, passed away May 25, 2012. Joe was born March 27, 1951 in Bentonville, Arkansas to parents Carmon and Mary Ann Threet. He was a lifelong resident of Benton County. Joe and his wife, Liz, owned Threet's Lawnmower in Bentonville. He also was a truck driver for almost 12 years and a member of the OOIDA (Independent Truckers Association). Joe also enjoyed woodworking. Joe is survived by his wife of 35 years, "Liz" Elizabeth Threet of Rogers; parents, Carmon and Mary Ann Threet; sons, William Threet of Rogers, Nathan Threet and wife Kim of Holts Summit, Missouri; daughters, Shelly Threet of Rogers, Kristen Wingenbach and husband Tom of Bella Vista; brother, Jimmy Threet and wife Janet of Hendersonville, Tennesee and 11 grandchildren. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, with burial to follow at Union Chapel Cemetery in Garfield. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. Please honor Joe by wearing Jeans and boots. Visitation 5:30 PM Tuesday, May 29th, 2012
