John Alan Sinclair, age 59, of Rogers passed away June 17, 2014. John was born Jan. 3, 1955, in Glasgow, Scotland, to parents John and Irene Sinclair. At 8 years of age, John moved to the United States with his family. After his schooling, John enlisted in the United States Army and served in the United States and overseas. He was very proud of his service in the Army as well as his Scottish ancestry. John also loved animals, playing the guitar and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Alis of the home; parents, John and Irene Sinclair of California; one son, Sean Sinclair and wife, Linsey, of California; two daughters, Estee Takes The Horse and husband, Thomas, of Rogers, and Ayla Sinclair and husband, Alex Garrett, of Rogers; two sisters, Marie Caspers and Katrina Glass of California; and six grandchildren, Zoey, Mia, Nayeli, Mya, Lily and Elizabeth. A visitation will be on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be on Friday, June 20, 2014, 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers, Ark. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark.
