Joyce Louise Barker
Joyce Louise Barker, 73 entered fully into the presence of the Lord on July 31, 2021 . Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in life and ultimately gave her peace.
Joyce was born on April 20, 1949 in Ponca City Oklahoma to Robert and Jewel Brown. Joyce married Mark Barker on September 23, 1965. They had two wonderful and beautiful daughters.
She enjoyed spending time with family and ensuring they all felt loved. Her other passion of sewing, embroidery and teaching others lead her to grow a successful sewing business she has enjoyed for over 18 years.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jewel Brown.
Joyce is survived by her husband Mark Barker of Rogers Arkansas; brothers Bobby Brown and family of Tulsa Oklahoma; Royce Brown and family of Edmond Oklahoma; daughter Sharla Gardner and family of Bella Vista Arkansas; daughter Cherylyn Cooley and family of Bentonville Arkansas.
