Joyce T. Orndorff, age 66, a longtime resident of Bentonville, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at her home in Bentonville. Joyce was born on September 29, 1944 in Greers Ferry, Arkansas to Alton Verser and Thelma (Carr) Kuykendall. On July 3, 1976 she married John F. Orndorff in Bentonville and they were married over 34 years before her death. Joyce worked as an IT Specialist for Kennametal, Inc. Joyce enjoyed going to the family cabin in the mountains and loved spending time with her family and her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren and she will be missed very much. Preceded in death by her father, Alton Verser; Joyce is survived by her husband John F. Ormdorff of the home in Bentonville; her mother, Thelma Kukendall of Bentonville; one daughter, Toni L. Henderson and her husband Harvey L. Henderson of Bella Vista; two brothers, Clifford Verser and his wife Sue of Decatur, Arkansas; Pete Verser and his wife Debbie of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two sisters, Tina Murphy and her husband Bruce of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; Sue Hipp and her husband JB of North Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Blake Snook and Ashley Snook both of Bella Vista; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
