Juan "John" Alipio Martinez, age 55 of Bella Vista, passed away July 3, 2010. John was born April 21, 1955 at Havana, Cuba. At an early age, John moved with his father to South Florida and later to the Centerton, Arkansas area, where John spent his years as a young adult. John moved back to Florida around 1985 and remained until 2002, when the family relocated to Northwest Arkansas . John was united in marriage to Arvis Lynn Levine on March 6, 1992 at Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. They enjoyed many years together. John enjoyed his farm, working with cattle and spending time with grandkids. John was preceded in death by his father, Juan B. Martinez and one daughter, Martha Maria Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Arvis of the home; daughters, Lynette Van Dyke and husband Eric of Rogers and Kaela Deskin of Birmingham, Alabama; son, John Martinez and wife Tina of Stillwell, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services are set for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers. Pastor Clark Snow will officiate.
