Juanita Jane Vanatta, age 50, a resident of Welch, Oklahoma and formerly of Picher, Oklahoma, passed away, Monday, February 21, 2011 at her home in Welch. Juanita was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on December 28, 1960 to Lonnie and Connie (Sprague) Garner. She was a member of the Maybell Baptist Church and was a fiber glass worker. Juanita enjoyed fishing and loved her family very much and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Juanita is survived by her husband Stephen Craig Vanatta of the home in Welch, Oklahoma; two sons, Travis Levi Murphy and wife Samantha of Miami, Oklahoma; Daniel James Vanatta and partner Randee Streeter of Maimi, Oklahoma; three daughters, Tia Machell Vanatta and husband Roy of Welch, Oklahoma; Traci Nichole Reed and husband Jacob of Columbus, Kansas; Kristy Vanatta and partner Ryan Tallman of Hesston, Kansas; one brother, Lonnie Garner, Jr. and wife Alice of Peoria, Oklahoma; four sisters, Gloria Garner Workman and husband Tom of Quapaw, Oklahoma; Evona Garner, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Becky Brandon of Quapaw, Oklahoma; Barbara Houtz and husband Pat of Anderson, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Greydon, Kaieson, Kelsey, Chelsey, Allison, Jace, Justice, Jade, Brianna, Wesley, Lake, and one on the way; special friend, Sarah Littleton of Blue Springs, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, adopted children, other relatives, and many friends. Celebration of Life services are pending at a later date.
