IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith Ann
Carmical
June 10, 1940 – January 20, 2026
Judith Ann Carmical, 85, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the home of her daughter, Cheryl, surrounded by love. She was born June 10, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Milton Truex and Thelma Seebold Truex. On July 2, 1960, she was married to Lowell Carmical in Dearborn, Michigan. She devoted her life to her family, her faith and the education of children. After years as a devoted stay-at-home mother, she followed her passion for learning and teaching earning a degree in Elementary Education from The University of Arkansas, followed by a Master's degree in Educational Leadership.
Judith spent her entire teaching and administrative career in Rogers beginning at Grace Hill Elementary, then Southside Elementary, where she later became principal. Under her leadership, Southside evolved into what is now Bonnie Grimes Elementary School. Her influence touched generations of students, teachers and families, and her legacy in education continues to be felt throughout the community.
A faithful Christian throughout her life, Judith was a devoted member of The Church of Christ, worshiping for many years at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers and later at Bella Vista Church of Christ. Her faith was not only spoken but lived through service, kindness and steadfast love for others. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lowell Carmical, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership.
Judith was known for her fun and witty personality, her stubborn determination, her intelligence and her deep compassion. She loved cooking for those she cared about, camping with friends and family, tending her garden and reading. Above all, she loved her family wholeheartedly and trusted God faithfully.
Judith's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her son, Douglas (Lori) Carmical and her daughter, Cheryl (Ken) Rosenbaum. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Tyler (Hannah) Carmical, Colton (Maeghen) Carmical, Garrett (Meagan) Carmical, Ashley Rosenbaum and Lauren Rosenbaum and a cherished great-grandmother to Ezekiel and Phoebe Carmical.
Celebration of Life will take place Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bella Vista Church of Christ with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. The family request donations be made to The Church of Christ Disaster Relief, honoring Judith's lifelong faith and heart for service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers.
