Scherer, age 76, of Rogers, AR, passed away and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015. Judie was born on March 24, 1939 in Chicago, IL. Judie was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers, AR for over 41 years. She loved to read, plant flowers, spend time with her family and friends, play bingo and was always involved in helping others. Through her church, she was a counselor for Stephen Ministries. Throughout the years, Judie and her husband, Leonard owned Pro-Tow / Auto-Medic and several other service stations. She also managed Jiffy Kwick for many years. Judie was preceded in death by her parents Henry Schroder, Lloyd and Dorothy Risberg, husband, Leonard Joseph Scherer and son, Steven Leonard Scherer. Judie is survived by her Sister, Nadine Holler and husband Bob of LaValle, MD, son, Scott Scherer and wife Deborah of Humble, TX, her son, Leonard "Lenz" Scherer and fiancé Jamie Wentz of Rogers, AR, Daughter-in-law Kathy Scherer of McKinney, TX, 6 grandchildren, numerous other family members, friends and pets who all loved her very much. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2015 at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, AR with Pastor Clark Snow officiating.
