Julia C. "June" Hudson, 95, of Destin, FL passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Promenade Health and Rehabilitation. June was born in Palatka, Florida on April 29, 1925 to Zula Jane and William Riley Cheshire. June married the love of her life, James T. "Red" Hudson, on January 6, 1946. They were completely devoted to each other and shared a love of travel. She was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother and G-Mama. June was known by family and friends as a woman of love, beauty and grace. June was survived by her children Michael T. Hudson and wife Linda, Jane M. Helmich and her husband Larry, James R. "Jimmy" Hudson and his wife Pam. She also was survived by 9 grandchildren, 28 great grand children and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, 6 brothers and sisters and her husband, Red. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the loving care of our mother and grandmother to both Promenade Health and Rehabilitation and Home Instead Senior Care.
