Mr. Julian Wayne Mixon, age 76, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his home in Rogers. He was born July 2, 1939, in Lenox, Georgia to Julian and Joan Paulette Burnett Mixon. Mr. Mixon was retired from the United States Air Force as a Pilot and enjoyed woodworking and chess. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and step-father. He is survived by wife, Dale; sons, John Wayne Mixon and wife Karen, Christopher Todd Mixon and wife Cynthia and David Dale Mixon and wife Laura; daughters, Miriam Joan Wallace and husband Matt and Teresa Maria Gomez and husband Paul; brother, Michael Mixon and wife Jan; sisters, Sherry Dougan and husband Patrick, Nancy Harrell, Leslie Roundy and husband Kelley, Mary Rogers and husband Steve and Priscilla Harrell; grandchildren, Haddas Mixon, Jake Wallace, Morgan Wallace and Julian Caldwell and great granddaughter, Elizabeth Jean. Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Friday May 20, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Lowell. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Music Ministry at the First Baptist Church of Lowell.
