IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kari Jean
Shaw
November 20, 1963 – October 14, 2024
Kari Jean Shaw, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 14th, 2024, at the age of 60. Born to the late Roger and Angie Green on November 20th, 1963, in Owatonna, Minnesota, Kari lived a life defined by her love for family, animals, and her sharp wit. A devoted daughter, Kari took care of her parents during their golden years. From her mother, Kari inherited a playful sense of humor and the ability to craft a clever quip, a talent she carried throughout her life. Honest and straightforward, Kari was never one to leave people guessing — you always knew where you stood with her. Kari's talents extended to the kitchen, where her cooking left a lasting impression. Her biscuits and gravy, in particular, were legendary, and anyone fortunate enough to taste them knew they were crafted with love and care. Beyond her cooking, Kari's life was also filled with a deep affection for animals, which she provided to the many pets she adored over the years. Kari is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Laura Green; and two brothers, Roger Green Jr. and Kurt Green.
She is survived by her son, Jarid Shaw, of Aubrey, Texas; two sisters, Cecelia Schermerhorn and her husband, Steve, of Rochester, Minnesota, and Lisa Sweetow, of Huntsville, Alabama; brother, Clayton Green of Tuscan, Arizona; best friend, Tiffany Lucas, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; pets, Grizzly and Tuffy; and many other family, friends, and loved ones. Kari will be remembered for her unwavering honesty, her laughter, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
