Obituary

Mr. Kent Duncan, age 76 of Branson, Missouri, passed away Wednesday July 24, 2019, at is home in Branson. Mr. Duncan was born September 10, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas to Roscoe Lewis and Juanita Qullen Duncan. Mr. Duncan attended Southside Church of Christ in Rogers for over 20 years, and worked sales for Purex Corporation, Xerox Corporation and Stone Container. He attended school in Andover, Kansas and graduated in 1960 from Andove High school and a graduate of Wichita University known as Wichita State University now in 1966 Mr. Duncan enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren in school activities and sports that they where involved in. After retiring Mr. Duncan sub-taught for Branson High School. Mr. Duncan married his sweet heart Voni DeVore on February 14, 1964. Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Kendra and sister-in-law, Judy DeVore. Mr. Duncan is survived by is Wife of 55 years, Voni Jean DeVore Duncan, Daughter, Lori Lynn McBee and husband Pete of Springdale, Arkansas, Son, Monte Duncan and wife Jennifer of Nixa, Missouri, Grandchildren, Katie Nichole "Bumble" McBee of Springdale, Arkansas, Cooper David Duncan and Mason David Duncan of Nixa, Missouri. Brother, Greg Duncan and wife Dorothy of The Villages Florida, Brother-in-law, Jerry DeVore of Marietta, Georgia, nephews, Tony Duncan and Darren DeVore, niece's Traci Ray and Darcy Mooney and a host of great niece's, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial service for Mr. Duncan will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers. Burial will follow after the service. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 am, to 10:00am.
