IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kerrie Leigh
Heiligenthal
January 8, 1970 – October 7, 2025
Kerrie Leigh Heiligenthal, 55, of Rogers, passed away peacefully October 7, 2025. She was born on January 8, 1970 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Larry and Saundra Courtney, who lovingly nurtured in her a strong faith and a heart for serving others. Kerrie was a proud graduate of Rogers High School in 1988. She attended Florida College in Tampa, Florida. In 1992, she earned a Bachelor Degree of Science in Education with an emphasis in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Arkansas. Kerrie dedicated 28 years of her career to helping others as a compassionate and skilled speech pathologist in Rogers Public Schools, where her students referred to her as Mrs. H. Through her compassion and expertise as a speech pathologist, she touched countless lives by offering encouragement, dignity, and hope to those she served. In May 1991, Kerrie married her beloved high school sweetheart, Joel Heiligenthal and together they built a beautiful life on the shores of Beaver Lake, centered on faith, love and family. Together, they raised two children, Courtney and Luke Heiligenthal, who were the pride and joy of their lives. Kerrie was deeply and unwaveringly devoted to her family, bringing warmth, laughter, and light to every gathering with her radiant smile and gentle spirit. A faithful member of the Downtown Church of Christ for 42 years, Kerrie lived her Christian faith through quiet acts of kindness and service. She gave freely of her time and talents to her church and community, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to shine through her husband, children, parents, siblings, and the many friends, colleagues, and loved ones whose lives she so deeply touched. Kerrie will be remembered not only for what she did, but for how she lived. Her inner beauty, even greater than her outward grace, leaves a lasting legacy of love, faith, and service.
Kerrie is survived by her husband Joel; daughter, Courtney; son, Luke, and his wife, Covington; parents, Larry and Saundra Courtney; sister, Sherre Courtney Ward; brother, Craig Courtney and his wife, Kelly. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends that meant the world to her.
