Obituary

Kimberly Joyce Brewer, age 47 of Gravette, Arkansas, sadly and without any warning, left this world Friday evening, September 4, 2026.

Kimberly was born on July 27, 1979, on Kelly AFB in San Antonio, Texas; the daughter of Janice Marie Boyle and Bernard William Boyle. She was the youngest of five children. As a US Air Force brat, Kimberly moved with her family to several Air Force Bases, but she spent most of her formative years in Mountain Home, Idaho. Not long after she turned 15, Kimberly moved with her family to Arkansas. She attended high school at West Campus Technical Center, Fayetteville High, graduating in 1997. In 2014, Kimberly graduated from the University of Phoenix, earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Her career was spent with her work family at (Standard Register) Taylor for 23 years.

On September 19, 1998, Kimberly was united in marriage to Franklin Truitt Brewer on his family’s homestead in Centerton, Arkansas, where they lived for several years, as well as in Jane, MO, for a brief spell. In 2013, they purchased their final home in Gravette, Arkansas, where Kim lived the remainder of her days.

Kimberly’s passions in life included many things from enjoying the outdoors to cooking, hosting get-togethers, and especially her family. Kim also cherished her close and supportive friends that would be anywhere at anytime, if anything arose.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin Truitt Brewer of Gravette, Arkansas; her two children: Truitt Michael Brewer and Jocelyn Ariel Brewer; her father, Bernard William Boyle; 1 brother, David Steven Saunders, and 3 sisters, Tina Diann Marie Naten, Naomi Ann Gulliford, and Karen Denise; and she was a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Marie Boyle, and her loving daughter, Janalynn Abigail Brewer.

A visitation is planned for Friday, September 11, at 1:00 p.m. at the Decatur First Baptist Church, with funeral service immediately to follow at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service at Benton County Memorial Park following the service.
