Laronna Kay James, age 43 of Centerton, Arkansas, passed away on May 17, 2011. Laronna was born September 19, 1967 at Jonesboro, Arkansas to parents Jimmy and Quinetta James. Laronna lived in Forrest City for many years, where her family owned the Hickory House Bar-B-Q restaurant. In recent years she moved to the Centerton area to be close to family. Laronna was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Kim Butler. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Schurmann of Joplin, Missouri; mother, Quinetta James of Jonesboro; brothers, Mike James of Centerton, Ar. and Russell Moss of Jonesboro ; nephews, Nathan James of Centerton and Adam James of Little Rock and niece, Savannah James of Little Rock. Laronna is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M., Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
