Lary Dana Wolfe, of Decatur, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024. Born on February

4, 1948, in California, to Leland Wolfe and Marjorie (Stowe) Wolfe, Lary found a love for the northern

part of California while living in several areas surrounding Redding and Mount Shasta. Over the years,

Lary also lived in central Texas before settling in Northwest Arkansas for the last three decades.

In his time of living in California, Texas, and Northwest Arkansas, Lary developed many friendships and

was affectionately known as "LD". Lary was known for his big heart and generous nature, caring for all

around him and being loved deeply.

Lary had a great love for movies and regularly enjoyed going to the cinema to see the latest movie that

caught his eye. He found delight in good stories, whether from comedies, westerns, adventures, or

romance – he enjoyed them all.

He also found great solace in nature and spent time in it whenever able; enjoying fishing, hunting, and

camping wherever he lived. The beauty of nature was always a part of his soul and he loved flowers,

especially tulips, which were his favorite.

Lary was a veteran of the US Army and proudly served our nation in the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Marjorie, as well as his brothers Lee and Gary Wolfe.

His children; Shawn Wolfe (of Ukiah, California), Christine Hearne and husband Ryan (of Gravette,

Arkansas), John Wolfe (of Decatur, Arkansas); 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren survive Lary.

Lary leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be forever etched in the hearts and minds of

those who were blessed enough to know him. He will be deeply cherished by his family and friends who

were always in his heart. May he rest in peace surrounded by the beauty he so adored.
