Laura Bessie Absheer Greenlee, age 90, a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville. Laura was born in Antigo, Wisconsin on April 5, 1921 to John and Julia (Cherisna) Vrbosky. Laura enjoyed cooking and reading and she will be missed very much. Laura was the youngest of twelve and she is preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters; her first husband, Alva Absheer; her husband, Lee Greenlee; her parents; one son, Jerry Absheer; and one granddaughter; Laura is survived by one son, Joseph Absheer and wife Geneva of Columbia, Missouri; two daughters, Sonja Farrer and Shirlee L. Jones both of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Sharon, Michael, and Richard; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Private memorial services will be held by the family.
