Laura  went to be with Jesus on February 6, 2024. She will be laid to rest in at Vineyard Cemetery in Morrow, AR next to her children who preceded her in death. She was born, December 30, 1960 to the late Edward and Laura Frank, in Houston Texas.  Laura was a CNA, a devoted mother of three, and cherished companion to her beloved dogs; Phyllis and Bailey. Laura's life was defined by her boundless love and compassion, both in her professional role and within her family. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, deeply missed by all who knew her. While she may be physically gone from this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. May she find eternal peace reunited with the loved ones she so dearly missed. Laura is preceded in death by her former husband Joe Powers I; her son, Joe Powers II; daughter, Michelle Powers; and three brothers, Wes Frank, Greg Frank,
and Mike Frank.

Laura is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Anthony Bellamy and their children Isaac, Noah, Abigail, and Hannah; grandson, David Embrey; brothers, John and Ed Frank, of Texas; and many other family, friends, and loved ones.

In Chapter 14 of the gospel of John, Jesus tells us, "Don't worry or surrender to fear. For you've believed in God, now trust and believe in me also. My father's house has many dwelling places. If it were otherwise, I would tell you plainly, because I go to prepare a place for you. And when everything is ready, I will come back and take you to myself so that you will be where I am."
