LaVonda M. Hurlbut, age 69, of Bella Vista, Arkansas departed this life peacefully at Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018. LaVonda was born February 14th, 1949 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida to Lavern and Marjorie Belzer. She married Charles Martin Hurlbut Jr. on May 1st, 1992. Mrs. Hurlbut worked as a hair dresser for many years, but her most rewarding work was for Bentonville Public Schools as a Special Needs Bus Driver, and most recently a Special Needs Bus Aide. LaVonda M. Hurlbut was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Linda Koland, and two infant daughters. She is survived by her husband, Charles of the home; children, Steve (Becky) of Lansing, TN; Robin of Bentonville, AR; and Sarah (Chris) of Columbia, MO; Seven grandchildren, Steven of Knoxville, TN; Karrah of Williamsburg, VA; Luke, Logan, and Summer of Lansing, TN; Raegan of Bentonville, AR; and Asher of Columbia, MO; sisters, Wanda (Tom) of Iowa City, IA; Amy (Louise) of Edmond, OK; brother Duane of Salina, KS; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Celebration of Life Service will be at Chapel On The Creeks on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00a. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Bentonville, AR. Arrangements have been entrusted to Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.
