Leota M. Mensch, age 64, a resident of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away June 19, 2012 at her home in Rogers. Leota was born on January 6, 1948 to Freeman F. Goodelk and Anna Katherine Baird. Leota leaves behind her husband, John D. Mensch of Rogers, Arkansas; five children from previous a marriage: Kandi M. Wilson and Frankie S. Wilson, Jr., of Rogers, Arkansas; Gale E. Wilson and Gloria E. Rethorst of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Rebecca J. Majors of Joplin, Missouri. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, all of Pittsburg, Kansas; a brother, Silas Goodelk of Spokane, Washington; a half-brother, Joesph Lessen of Maryland; along with several half-siblings, and two aunts: Betty Hurlbert and Patricia Rohrbaugh of Pittsburg, Kansas; one niece, Sherry Coyle; one nephew Troy Goodelk; other relatives, and friends. Inurnment services will be held at Crocker Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kansas at a later date.
