Leroy Rhodes, age 55 of Rogers passed away December 6, 2013 in Bentonville. Leroy was born June 4, 1958 in Fort Carson, Colorado to parents Melvin Rhodes and Rita Furrer. He was united in marriage to Cynthia Diane Orr on August 29, 1980 and they enjoyed over thirty years of marriage. Leroy worked for 22 years as a buyer for Wal-Mart. More recently Leroy was the District Sales manager for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, playing poker, landscaping and was an avid Arkansas Razorback and Kansas City Chiefs fan. Leroy would go out of his way to help others and loved to spend time with his family. Leroy is survived by his wife, Cindy of the home; parents, Melvin and Rita of Rogers; sons, Joshua Hicks and wife Eva of Centerton and Matthew Rhodes and wife Kortney of Pea Ridge; daughter, Christy Hicks of Rogers; brothers, Jeff Rhodes of Gravette and Dusty Rhodes of Rogers; sisters, Terry Von Tersch of Pea Ridge, Shirley Taylor of Powell, Mo. and Tammy Knox of Centerton; grandchildren, Valeria Aguirre, Andrea Aguirre, Gabriela Hicks and Madison Rhodes and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Funeral Services are set for 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers.
